One week left in Phase 1, still very deep in ketosis
Hey I'm in week 5 of Phase 1, but I think I'm no where near my macro threshold:
- I measure my ketone level with Keto Mojo every morning and it's averaged 3 mmol/liter this so far this week
- No sign of plateau in weight. Lost more than 1 lb from 7 days ago.
- I still have keto rash going on 🙁 a little less intensive than wk 2-3, but new rashes still showing up here and there.
- I follow the program really tightly. And if anything, the carbs in the supplements I take (and not recorded) should put me at slightly lower fat% than required.
Given how deep I'm in ketosis right now, I don't think I will reach my macro threshold in week 6 either. I wonder if I should stay in this phase for longer until I find the threshold? But my caloric intake is pretty low already (started at 1,611, now at 1,470). If I keep going in Phase 1 I think I won't have much run way for Phase 2? Let me know what y'all think. @moyicat hey! So I would stay in phase 1 until you find your threshold. This program is about being optimal as well as losing weight. If you get to low on calories while in phase 1 then you would just go from phase 1 to phase 3 and skip phase 2.
