Phase 1: second time around
I had some success on DSK early in the year and have become complacent (whilst still keto) and put back on some of the weight. I have used the onboarding tool to up my calories to about 1850 (female, 42 years old, 177lbs, 5ft9in). I felt happy with an 80% fat ratio last time, is it still necessary to do phase 1 or should I skip to tapering in Phase 2?

You may have changed your protein threshold and you may not have.
Have you built any muscle since then? This could have a factor.
Also, with your calories at 1850, has your weight stayed the same?

thanks for your reply. I have decided to do another week of on boarding so will get calories up around 2000.
my weight is about the same as when I started last time with no increase in muscle. I have been losing about 1-2 pounds per week during on boarding.
I like your thinking for doing another week since you are still losing while increasing calories.
I would keep increasing calories until you notice a stall. 🙂
Also in my opinion, you can skip phase 1 if you want to as you have not gained much muscle. However, feel free to do phase 1 if you wish also. 🙂 Other things may have changed, so you never know.
