Here is the scale Robert gives:
-1.5 (average): fairly active, doesn't go to the gym often.
-1.6-1.8: you go to the gym regularly
-if you are going hard (prepping for a competition) slide it to above 1.9.
So from your description, somewhere between 1.6 & 1.8! I hope this helps!! 😀 😀 Write back if you need anything else!! 😊 😀
All the best to you!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀
I was looking at 1.7, so thank you so much.
Another question. Is Bang energy drink ok to have?
As Judy said it's better to go lower than higher as most tend to overestimate their activity level but sounds like you've got a good starting point.
And on DSK you're gonna have to become a label reader, I don't know what BANG has in it but if it's anything like most energy drinks I would say it's a no go...either for sweeteners, sugars or carbs. Stevia and Monk Fruit are your recommended sweeteners, some choose to use all the other ones but don't always see results as some make people hold water and cause bloating. And Bang has a lot of ingredients in it along with Sucrlean brand sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium, so I would skip it while on DSK.
So it's your program and your choice but most have best results by sticking as close to the program as possible, again this is just my opinion on the protocol.
I totally agree with Max! Attached it the BANG nutrition label & it has a lot in it that would make me put it down as well!
Instead, I drink plain seltzer water, herbal teas, coffee, & just thirst quenching plain water!!!
However, I agree with Max in that this is your program, & you're free to do as you wish, but if you want the best out of the protocol, no regrets, I'd stick as close to the recommendations as possible. It's a short time in the scheme of things to give up certain things, IMO!
Good Luck & all the best to you!!! 😀 😀 😀
@shadcastle17 You are very welcome!! 😀 😀 😀 Write back if you need anything else!! 😊 😀 All the best to you!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀
Regarding my take on non-stevia or monk fruit sweeteners on DSK. Many, like myself will post content and information on sugar and sweeteners while on KETO. While the top sweeteners on KETO are stevia, monk fruit and erythritol (depending on who you ask), on DSK we try to keep it to stevia and monk fruit. Even then when in a cut protocol I would limit any sweetener to get the true effect of a cut including those.
For myself, even outside of DSK I limit any sweetener that goes into my body including stevia and monk fruit but I do from time to time use them along with erythritol when cooking or an occasional BANG. **This is outside of when I am on DSK** As both mentioned above it is your protocol so do as you wish but if you see your self stalling or maybe not getting what you want I would limit those items.
DSK recommended is stevia and monk fruit only.
